I met Raza in the gym few months after I moved to Nottingham. At that time I was struggling to create a routine between trainings and my PhD, I had also personal problems that were making the whole thing even more difficult. I asked him tips about some exercises and we ended up booking a training session.
Raza is a highly prepared and skilled trainer, he is really careful when it comes to injuries/specific physical conditions but more importantly he does his job with whole his heart. The sessions are challenging but funny and you feel comfortable and always deeply motivated. Create a connection with your personal trainer is really important to better yourself both physically and mentally. It doesn’t matter at which level you are, he will help you getting stronger and feeling better anyway!

When I started my journey to gain strength I was so anxious to go to the gym and didn’t know where to begin or what I was capable of. Raza has been very understanding of my personal situation, helping me since day one to make progress at a pace I feel comfortable with and build confidence within myself. I was very overweight, didn’t enjoy exercising and had a hectic home life with a desk based job. Raza helped me to work small changes into my routine and helped me realise that for my body type, gaining muscle mass is more effective at reducing body fat than cardio. Because I can't put pressure on my shoulder joints, Raza helped me strengthen them without hurting them and he found alternative ways to exercise the same muscles in a low impact way. I continue to train with Raza once a week and use my tailored program the other days. I still have a long way to go but every week I am happier with my body and my results.

Raza is friendly and approachable, initially helping me to work through the physio I needed to strengthen my feet and ankles post-surgery. We moved from these exercises onto weights, something I’d not had the confidence to try before. Raza provided coaching on technique for all muscle groups and empowered me to progress safely to heavier free weights. I am a 73 year old who used to be reasonably fit until the covid lockdowns of the last two years changed all that . Two or three months ago I joined a local gym and was lucky to meet Raza who has developed a varied programme for me to improve my strength, flexibility and overall fitness. He is a friendly professional who is very good at motivation and giving detailed instruction. He clearly knows his stuff and I am already noticing the difference! Raza is an outstanding personal fitness trainer. He is very conscientious, listens very well to what your fitness goals are and tailors a program to meet them. Once he has designed a program, he takes you very carefully through it to make sure your form is correct and you’re working out safely. I was using the same training program for a couple of years until I scheduled a fitness program session with Raza last year. He was recommended by a friend of mine. Raza provided me with a detailed training program considering my fitness goals. I have seen a great improvement since I started following it. Raza is absolutely a people person. Raza is a great listener and he is very encouraging. I had no knowledge of anything related to weight lifting as I only ever did cardio workouts. He taught me all the basics and went through every exercise in detail. He also takes on board any feedback I have with an exercise. When I informed him that leg extensions cause knee pains, he adjusted my routine accordingly. Raza is definitely one of the best fitness instructors I have ever come across. I’m glad he was the instructor who helped me start my fitness journey.

I’m Rui and I have trained with Raza for a few months so far. I can ensure he is responsible, experienced and has a sense of humour. Our workout sessions are very fun and motivating. Raza is an enthusiastic and professional coach. I first met him because my training technique was not very good and he was keen to come and guide me.He told me that I could make an appointment to learn boxing for strength and weightloss. I really like boxing but didn't know how to start at that time, he was very professional helped me a lot.He coached me patiently from the basics of boxing to strength training and as time went on, my movements became more and more fluid, as well as my strength and speed. Raza supported my father Alec as the Alzheimer’s progressed. Raza was kind, engaging, funny, encouraging and also challenged my dad to do what he could and sometimes do more than he might otherwise have done! Alec loved him very much. Raza worked with Alec, using natural resistance and bands, engaged him and used daily activities and items to strengthen and interact. Raza was a fundamental part of the team that ensured my dad died peacefully at home, aged nearly 97. His relationship developed and adapted over the five years; he brings his heart to work. You won’t regret working with him!
