PT Sessions can be ongoing long term but often clients just need some help and motivation just getting started so it may be that sessions are only needed for a few weeks to help set good training habits.

Personal training sessions can be locally in Nottingham or anywhere in the world via Zoom, Facebook, WhatsApp or WeChat! We have lots of packages and deals to suit all budgets and there's no obligation to carry on.

Meet Raza

Hola Amigos! I'm Raza and I'll be your personal trainer.

The three most important things you need to know about me are:

1. In my 20+ Years of sports and fitness experience, I've done everything from competitive bodybuilding (and won!) to salsa dancing with lots of other sports in between! Whatever you enjoy doing - I've probably had a go at some point! 

2. I've also had injuries - If you're concerned about training because of an injury or disability, I've got you covered. I used my own back injury as an opportunity to learn new and creative ways to train around injuries and I regularly work with clients of all abilities, ages, and fitness levels. I also work with people that have different needs and requirements and I always find fun ways to get around anything that's preventing a client from achieving their best - training in the quiet nature, creating programs for short attention spans and thinking of new ways to use equipment are my favourite things to do!

3. I am the happiest, most enthusiastic and energetic trainer you'll every meet! There will be no problems with motivation, confidence or self-esteem once we start training and I promise you'll leave every session feeling positive vibes!

Why should I choose FitR?

Healthy comes in many varieties and so does training for different body types. It's definitely possible to lose body fat without using the treadmill or gain muscle without using heavy weights so if you are anxious about training because of a certain type of exercise, we have you covered. We work with you, your goals, your body type, you abilities, the things you enjoy and the time you have available to help you reach what healthy looks like for you - in the most positive and enthusiastic way.

Being healthy is not just about losing fat or building muscle - it's especially not about having a "normal" Body Mass Index. Healthy for one person's body type and goals is very different to another. Similarly, one person's idea of a fun exercise may be the reason someone else avoids fitness altogether and that's ok.

As a fully qualified and accredited personal trainer, I firmly believe that the personality, enthusiasm and motivation of a trainer makes the difference. When you arrange a session with me, you’ll enjoy top quality, highly personalised training sessions from a coach who will motivate and energize you from beginning to end and who genuinely cares about your development and you as a person.

I will always find ways to improve your life and help you reach "your healthy" in a way that you are comfortable with. There may be a sore muscle or two along the way, but I believe getting fit should be enjoyed, not dreaded - plus there are thousands of ways to improve fitness that don't include the dreaded treadmill!

Encouraging

Raza is a great listener and he is very encouraging. I had no knowledge of anything related to weight lifting as I only ever did cardio workouts. He taught me all the basics and went through every exercise in detail. He also takes on board any feedback I have with an exercise. When I informed him that leg extensions cause knee pains, he adjusted my routine accordingly. Raza is definitely one of the best fitness instructors I have ever come across. I’m glad he was the instructor who helped me start my fitness journey.

I was using the same training program for a couple of years until I scheduled a fitness program session with Raza last year. He was recommended by a friend of mine. Raza provided me with a detailed training program considering my fitness goals. I have seen a great improvement since I started following it. Raza is absolutely a people person.
